Stray Dogs

An impoverished Taipei man (Lee Kang-Sheng) who holds up advertising placards by day and lives in a deserted building with his two children by night. A kind-hearted supermarket staff (Lu Yi Ching) helps out the kids, although things take a subsequent turn for the surreal as hints of regret and loss flood into the film.
